hello
work for decent size company (1500 employees).i am the only non citizen/non gc holder
applied eb3 and stuck since 2003.gained masters in 2006
planning to apply to EB2 with different title .
my employer is requesting to apply eb2 for masters with 7 years of experience as requirement
in general if i look at DOL websites ,most positions requirements says masters plus 2 years like that
does that mean its guaranteed audit like that meaning do they question or is it possible
any experiences who ported are appreciated

Thank you guys.
What is bothering me is that they told us the Wrong Information PLUS lawyer was just asking for filling fees(which is 745) during the time of signature but now Company is charging even for legal fees.
I believe they want to earn extra money from us. What should we do now about this wrong info?
You think we have no choice here but to pay?

BUY AND READ THE BOOK TITLED:
"INVESTMENT FOR DUMMIES" whose GC is in process and priority date in backlogged due to retrogression and by the way married to husband who's cash pooping machine but can't figure out what to do with money.
Its along title but you sure can get a good deal on amazon.

Could you guys tell me that ur advertisement/job requirements -- had any alternate education in it..like BS +5 as per the norm..
If yes, then it would be gr8.. if u can have a look at ur LC/9089 form and let us all EB2 aspirants know that..what did you specify in your H section..at 4(as min requirements-- MS or BS +5) and what as alternate requirements(8-A,C)
Did any of you guys, or any1 here had to prove Business Necessity when they filed EB2..

I just created a search engine (http://immisearch.blogspot.com/) to help all people looking for a better way to search topics around immigration related activites. The search engine came as a result of my countless hours that I spent searching to answers around the web.
Try searching for any information with h1b, h4, Green Card, I-485, I140, citizenship etc, and the engine should give you a better result.

I'll urge people from especially from California and Texas send out the letters and call up their lawmakers...Despite the Anti-immigrant climate prevailing in the country, congresswoman Zoe Logfren was able to get her bill passed on wednesday....If we can proove to them that we are not asking new green card numbers and not ask for recapturing green card numbers, they'll certainly hear us, but we need to speak up...

Just came back from one myself, with stops in Belize, Mexico & Grand Cayman. Did not need visas for any of those. We did not even take the passports to the ports and no one was checking them either. All you need is your ship card.

May be I am not understanding the question right...I think the question was - what are the STEM disciplines? I know the website lists a bunch of occupations that require one of the STEM degrees. So to look at what are the STEM degrees, I chose Browse By STEM Degree and in that Scroll menu are all the majors - starts with Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering....

You will retain your PD.
If your employer recalls the 140 it could casue potential disruptions. If you have an EAD, just port your employment to some other employer. That way you will be dealing with less hassles.
I haven't file 485 and have no EAD.
Just an approved 140 with looming layoffs.

Once you file for 485/AP/EAD, I guess the rule is that you cannot switch jobs for 6 months.....
1. can we choose the start date of our EAD or does USCIS decide that date?
2. can you have separate start dates for you and your wife's EAD?
3. does the new job have to be exactly the same title or can it be a new title? e.g. if your current role is a software engineer, can the new one be a Project manager?

I got promoted to managerial position and I got depromoted back during my H1 extn time when the company attorney noticed the change in my title. He politiely conferenced me and HR and said it is not acceptable as my GC is pending unless otherwise my company is willing to put me back in the LC position during my AOS filing. My duties change d as my title change, but I was still doing 50% of what was explained in the LC. Again there was no other pun intended reason for my demotion to make it clear. Each attorney is different, but it scews the candidates since the company HR listens to them as they are liable for it.

My old attorney was appointed by my old employer but after I left my old company, my old attorney was working as my personal attorney and her contract with my old company was also over. and I kind of have good understanding with him. He was helpful in general scenarios as well.
But I am not sure whether I should switch the attorney. My worry is what if I tell my old attorney that I am doing G28 to new attorney from new employer and G28 form never reach USCIS file? then all the correspondence will goto my old attorney.... what will happen in those scenario?
