Still Wondering why would they sent so early:(..never understand crazy CIS and its dynamic policies..
I thought many who had submitted in July 2007 (July fiasco) had got FP notice...but not sure....
anyways, does anyone know about what I am asking...once you get the biometrics processing stamp, does that mean that they have sumibbted for security clearance usiung the fingerprints or does it mean that the security clrearance is done ?

Query on Advance Parol. Send Clear Copies of Passports and I 94 Cards.
Question? Does I need to send all I 94 Cards of each H1B and all copies of passports with all pages.

I had the same query for my wife. I sent color copies of passport front and back, latest visa, I-94, DL and EAD all in color. Keep me posted how long it took for you to get approval after you sent the docs.

If you are looking in 300K range with best schools,large indian community then Villages of Urbana in Frederick is one of the better choices.
The property tax is pretty low here because it is in Frederick county. I hope this information helps you. The elementary,middle and high schools here are one of the best in the state.

Thanks for your responses. The hospital staff told us it would take 60-90 days to get the SSN. I am stuck until that arrives because only then can I apply for the passport. Any way to get around it?
Call SS office they may give SS on phone or just go and ask them they will give you the number based on which you can apply for passport.
If you apply PIO in person and pick it up in person It will take around week.

I believe the AP needs to be approved before the person leaves the country for it to be used while coming back. This needs to be clarified though.
From your post, it sounds like she doesn't have an H4 stamp on her passport, but only the approval notice. She can't re-enter the US only by showing the approval notice at the port of entry. She needs to have the stamp on her passport as you already may be aware of.
Sending AP (or any other immigration document in original) outside of the US (e.g., to India) via courier/mail is risky, if not forbidden by law.

I spoke with the lawyer. She asked me to get an affidavit stating the arrest reason and also what happened. She will send this as soon she gets my receipt number.
I am not having any case/docket number since this happened 4 years back.
Lawyer is saying this should be ok and this falls under misdemeanor.
Any suggestion?
you are ok.try to conatct the court clerk and give them your details or goto the police station and they will give your case number or if they have online system..just search in the system

Hello All,
Finally we got all the receipt numbers today. We (I and family) had filed at NSC on July 2; called USCIS today and IO said the data was entered in the system yesterday (Oct 29).. he also gave me and my family's receipt numbers.
This should give all of who are waiting for Receipt Notices some hope !!
I know its very frustrating; but be a little more patient is what I can say at this moment ..! Good things dont come easy is what I learnt from all this exercise..

So, the bottom portion of you H1 approval notice (I-797) does not have an I-94 ?
If not, then doing it in Canada for the first H1 can be a big gamble.

Schedule A visa is not available. Schedule A simply means that we are exempted from LC. All we need is to file I-140 concurrent with I-485/EAD/AP.
Our visa is also EB3.
Now, the question is whether we need to get July priority date or we can get an August priority date and also qualified under this scheme?

I know IV members maybe uniformly divided between republicans and democrats. I find republicans views better too with the exception of their views on guns (war and other points).
however my main complaint against republicans is that the hardcore amongst them (esp the talk radio) ..spread hate. (remember to the average american ...legals and illegals look alike !!! ..)
and I agree nothing wrong in biden's remarks ..whereas Palin is a very wrong choice (not that I care much )

Seems like it could be new August visa bulletin. With some cutoffs. but applications sent already will not be rejected. They won't be worked upon but wont be rejected.

This is particularly true in that as the elimination program approaches the end of the rope, the morale of the temporary workers that manage, operate, and process applications is expected to drop substantially.

There are still tons of traditional applications that await a time-consuming supervised recruitment process and adjudication including audits. AC21 Attorney Selection (Suggested by new employer Vs selected by you)

Subject : While changing jobs we have two options
1) Hire your new attorney and you pay for it or
2) Use the attorney that is recommended by your employers and its paid my new employer
Agenda : Discuss Pros and Cons of each options
My views : Its better to use attorney from your new employer because its free, because s/he can better coordinate with the employer to get the offer letter describing same and similar job duties and also if you change to another job again you can change this attorney too..you have options and they are at no cost to you
Does anyone differ from me and has any reason that why should I go for my own attroney (not using new employers attorney) for AC21 ?
